About Us

The sole proprietorship Alice Engelbrink, CPA, was formed in 1983. During the last 33 years the practice has grown to encompass clients consisting of individuals and small businesses. Ethan Engelbrink, CPA joined the practice in 2008 and Engelbrink & Associates, PLLC was formed in August of 2010.  The firm participates in The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy Peer Review Program. 

Alice L. Engelbrink, CPA, graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA, in 1969 and initially worked in industry as controller and assistant to the treasurer of an oil related company, a produce distribution company, a water district management company, and a business consulting firm. She obtained her CPA certification and started the sole proprietorship of Alice Engelbrink, CPA in February of 1983. In August of 2010, she and her son, Ethan, formed Engelbrink & Associates, PLLC. Alice has 33 years of experience in accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation. She also brings experience in managing issues with federal and state agencies for her clients. Alice has developed lifelong individual and small business clients since her start in 1983. 

Ethan Engelbrink, CPA, graduated from St. Edward's University with a BBA, in 1999. He worked as a sales associate for a national mortgage lender in Houston for 6 years. In addition, during this time, he obtained his Texas real estate license in 2005. He joined Alice Engelbrink, CPA in 2008. With his background in sales, Ethan brings a unique client-focused approach to the firm. In addition, as a Texas real estate agent, he understands first-hand the complexities associated with reporting 1099 income. After receiving his CPA in 2010, he and Alice formed Engelbrink & Associates, PLLC in August of 2010.  Ethan is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
